    Responsibilities /Responsabilités

    The Senior Recruiter will work in partnership with VP – Global Head, Talent Recruiting, global hiring managers and HR to ensure that immediate and future staffing needs are met. The emphasis will be recruiting top senior level creative, technical and production management talent for global opportunities with the Technicolor Production Services brand business units.

     

    This role requires effective management of the recruitment life-cycle from drafting job descriptions through posting, sourcing, headhunting, networking (internal and external), seeking referrals, screening candidates, organizing and attending interviews, providing feedback and follow up to candidates and staff, as well as the presentation and negotiation of offers of employment.

     

    The role will also be responsible for building a global talent network of artists and post-production professionals by proactively searching and screening talent, attending road shows/events and continuously mapping out potential talent in the industry.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Be the initial point of contact for external candidates.
    • Ensure that the Technicolor Production Services brands are appropriately managed and represented to candidates.
    • Source candidates for all assigned positions using a combination of social and professional media sites. Manage the sourcing process to ensure a timely exchange of information between hiring managers and recruiting.
    • Conduct prescreen interviews with selected candidates to assess their interest level, suitability for the position and availability. Communicate interview notes with relevant members of the recruiting and staffing teams.
    • Schedule and manage candidate interview process. Obtain, organize and communicate interview notes to all relevant members of the recruiting and staffing teams.
    • Build and maintain relationships with prospective talent in order to establish networks in the industry to meet current and future hiring needs.
    • Conduct regular recruitment meetings with hiring managers to discuss all relevant current and projected recruiting and staffing needs.
    • Generate and maintain reports to track and communicate on recruiting activity.
    • Maintain productive relationships with HR teams and BPs.
    • Ensuring all offers and contracts have met the required approvals process and are in line with defined and agreed salary budgets.

    Qualifications / Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of the VFX, Animation, Post Production and Digital Media production processes, structure and culture.
    • Demonstrates the ability to build relationships both internally and externally with a customer-focused approach.
    • Good working knowledge of legal and immigration requirements that impact the hiring process.
    • Possesses excellent organizational and administrative skills.
    • Pro-active with a drive and determination to get things done positively and with enthusiasm.
    • Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of their work.
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to cope with pressure in a changing environment.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong computer skills including experience of working with candidate tracking software and utilizing social and professional networking as a recruitment tool for generating candidates.
    • A self-starter with the ability to multi-task to ensure flexibility is provided to support the needs of recruiting.

    Highly Desirable

    • Previous experience in recruiting, artist management or related areas of VFX, Animation, Post Production, Gaming, Technology production.
    • Current and extensive contacts in creative, technical, production management and facility management candidates.
    • Previous experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and or understanding of the LinkedIn professional networking community.
    • Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, leading ATS, CRM and HR systems.
