    Responsibilities /Responsabilités

    • Senior Product Manager builds and implements the Americas Gateway product and solutions roadmap based on market and end-user needs, technology trends and overall company strategy. The product manager goal is to develop revenues, profitability and drive customer satisfaction and innovation.
    • Builds and implements product/solutions strategy.
    • Creates and drives with a consistent roadmap based on market and end-users needs, technology trends and overall company strategy.
    • Decide and recommend to management which products should be put to market.
    • Defines product/services and evolution all along the product life cycle with the goal to develop revenues and profitability and maximize customer satisfaction and innovation.
    • Be responsible for the defined product throughout the concept stage: drive and synchronize all different stakeholders. Draw out business plan including overall budget, pricing, cost, profitability analysis, revenue forecast and sales margin, as well as time to market.
    • Develops an innovative/forward-looking vision and strategic recommendation to translate global environment knowledge into business opportunities.
    • Studies and anticipates industry, market and customer segments evolutions to understand trends and evaluate market attractiveness.
    • Keeps technological and competitive benchmark up to date to identify uncovered opportunities and be across disruptive changes in standards or in chipset market. Follows up end users expectations to better understand customers’ requirements.
    • Stays constantly informed on rules and regulations. Recommends strategic direction, market positioning, structuring technology choices, and defines key competitive advantages for the target products/solutions. Creates and entertains a network of internal/external active contacts (Technology vendors & partners, market and industry analysts, customers & prospects ...). 
    • Defines and manages the consistent Products/Services/Solutions portfolio based on a strategic thinking approach.
    • Defines and agrees for each component of the roadmap, including ecosystem components, the required specifications.
    • Defines full set of product/services features with differentiating factors, positioning, set the target technical performances, look and feel when requested, targeted launching date, taking into consideration other groups' inputs such as R&D.
    • Identifies key potential partners and manages partners relationship along the product life cycle (techno, software, business) and sets-up appropriate actions in close collaboration with CTO, R&D and Business.
    • Studies and defines key technology choices to create a differentiating product positioning.
    • Builds and proposes the business plan as such overall budget, pricing, costs and profitability analysis, as well as business/ markets assumptions.
    • Arbitrates priorities in terms of features/pricing/time to market (value for money...). 
    • Maintains and evolves roadmap all along the product life cycle.
    • Identifies, evaluates (with R&D, business stakeholders) and implements changes to the roadmap to ensure consistency with technology and features evolutions, market changes, customer requirements and financial results at every step of the projects.
    • Is the advocate of the product/service both internally and externally.
    • Defines and manages the "Go-to-market" strategy with market attack plan by main customer.
    • Participates actively to the creation of messages to position product/services in a consistent manner.  Participates to the product/service marketing plan definition and decide together with Marketing the most appropriate marketing campaigns, tactics and tools.
    • Promotes the products/solutions internally (to sales, executives, pre-sales...) and externally (press, industry analysts, customers).
    • Provides regular training sessions while performing product/service demos to customers.
    • Is responsible for providing strong support to customer facing teams all along the sales cycle.
    • Interacts with customers and/or sales representatives to gain trust and credibility and influence business requirements. 

    Qualifications / Qualifications

    • BS Degree in IT/Technical-Engineering degree or equivalent.
    • Must be interested in the business side as well as technical.
    • Requires experience with Broadband (DSL, Ethernet, LTE, Wi-Fi, Fiber, VoIP...)
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Good execution skills.
    • Ability to lead concepts.
    • 5+ years of product management and/or business development experience within Cable/Telco/Internet Ecosystems. ​
    • 3+ years international business experience.
    • 3+ years P&L management experience.
    • 5+ years of experience authoring and maintaining Market Requirements Documents and/or Product Requirements Documents.
    • Ability to drive opportunities into business wins, in addition to participating with the larger team from business win through to delivery.
    • Passionate about making new product solutions available to customers.
    • Requires travel within US and Canada on average 1 week per month.
