Position Summary:

 

This role is for a Manager, Pricing and Contracts in the Technicolor Home Entertainment Services division’s Worldwide Pricing and Contracts team. This role reports to the Director, Pricing and Contracts and has regular interaction with the Division CFO and VP WW Contracts and Pricing, as well as other Finance and Operations colleagues.

 

 

Proposal Activity:

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of customer proposals, including pricing, operational and legal elements, identify proposal issues and/or risks and recommend resolutions for addressing same.
  • Coordinate approval of proposal with Operations, Sales, Finance and Executive Management.
  • Draft proposals and maintain proposal files, including supporting documentation and proposal revisions.

 

Contract Activity:

  • Interface with customer service on all contract related matters (pricing or terms), including oral and written communications.
  • Conduct comprehensive contract conformance review to ensure that all negotiated proposal elements are accurately reflected in the contract document.
  • Provide interpretation of contract requirements to other organizations/personnel.
  • Support development of contract summaries and ad hoc informational requests related to contract obligations.

 

Financial Analysis and Pricing:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of proposals, including profit/loss analysis, most-favored nations price comparisons and risk analysis, etc.
  • Review pricing changes and maintain corresponding agreements.
  • Provide pricing for specialty cases.

 

Customer/Third Party Audit Activity:

  • Respond to external and internal auditor requests for information.

 

Administrative Functions:

  • Coordinate/resolve contracts and pricing issues with Customer Service.
  • Manage access rights and contracts/proposals data warehouse SharePoint repository.

Qualifications / Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, or contracts capacity is required.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office (heavy emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and web-based and Windows based software and databases. Proficiency with Access, SharePoint and JBA is an advantage.
  • Individual must be extremely detail oriented and capable of conducting thorough and comprehensive proposal and contract reviews.
  • Individuals must be able to effectively and efficiently manage a heavy workload with an emphasis on meeting critical deadlines.  Must also be able to process multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Individual must have financial analytical skills, with experience in profit/loss analysis.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive.
  • Exceptional written, oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, including Executive Management.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully, works well in group problem solving situations and offers solutions
