Responsibilities /Responsabilités

This is the top HR position on the Memphis campus supporting 1200 full-time and up to 3000 temporary employees. The position also leads a team of 9 including 3 HR Managers. ​

 

Overall responsibilites include but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of all employee related activities in 5 different operations/facilities
  • Ensure Federal/State/Local/Company compliance in the following areas: employment, labor relations, wage and salary administration, training, benefits, and other employee services,
  • On-site legal representative to Federal/State entities,
  • Develop and maintain of the HR Budget,
  • Direct and support of local training initiatives,
  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership with senior operational leadership,
  • Fluent in operations in order to develop a strategic approach for HR's role,
  • Initiate and lead all talent management efforts,
  • Provide advisement to operational leadership,
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or HR preferred
  • HR Certification
  • 5 – 10+ years experience in a HR leadership role
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, budgets, P & L and cost analysis is required
  • Knowledge of Federal Labor Laws is essential
  • Ability to travel locally, domestically and internationally on as-needed basis
  • Ability to use Microsoft office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required
