    Responsibilities /Responsabilités

    • Develop quality production level application code and ensure that the deliverables align with the product roadmap and vision.
    • Ensure consistent quality in all software that is released.
    • Be responsible for working on technical initiatives and ensuring deliverables and timelines are met.
    • Research, design and write new software programs.
    • Integrate existing software applications.
    • Research new technologies.
    • Create technical specifications.
    • Work closely with other staff.
    • Develop new functionality on our existing software products.
    • Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through knowledge-sharing presentations.
    • Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide general product development support as part of a cross functional team.
    • Design and architect products.
    • Understands and articulates technologies to customers and other engineers.
    • Identify changing requirements and recommends solutions.
    • Oversee projects and technical management.

    Qualifications / Qualifications

    The candidate should have 2+ years minimum experience as a C/C++ software engineer.  Experience programming with the Linux OS as well as good understanding of real-time operating system concepts is required.  An understanding of network protocol operations (Ethernet, TCP/IP, multicast IP, IGMP, etc.) is required. 

    • BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
    • Self-starter, detail oriented, with drive to focus and deliver results quickly. 
    • Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
    • Takes initiatives and acts on opportunities.
    • Interested in going beyond current knowledge and scope.
    • Potential to transition to a team lead role.

    Additionally, the following skills are considered a plus:

    • Knowledge of gateways, agile methodologies, cloud technologies.
    • Knowledge of ADSL/ VDSL gateways, WiFi, Fiber (PON), LTE.
    • Knowledge of web development technologies such as Lua, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, RESTful API’s
