Responsibilities /Responsabilités

 

Technicolor is looking for a senior project manager with proven successful performance managing Agile projects to be part of its Connected Home Project Management Group that develops leading edge products for network operators.

 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Manage the projects from concept to customer acceptance that includes system design, hardware, software, mechanics and test.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Interface with Customer for the project status regularly.
  • Understands and strives to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs during the project exaction phase.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Participate in process improvement initiative.

 

Qualifications / Qualifications

  • The candidate should have 8+ years in technical, resource or project management.
  • The candidate should have a BS degree in a technical field.
  • Project management experience is required.
  • Working experience in using Microsoft Project is required.
  • Experience with consumer product development is required.
  • Knowledge of the Docsis, voice and video technology.
  • Works well when under time pressure and delivery constrains.
  • Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organization skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.
  • Solid technical background with understanding the cable broadband products is preferred.
  • A PMP certification is preferred.
