Responsibilities /Responsabilités

Technicolor VFX is looking for a motivated, organized and adaptable individual who is passionate about film and television visual effects, collaborating with diverse team of skilled artists and learning the intricacies of managing and scheduling the creation, development of 3D visual effects assets. The VFX Scheduler responsibilities are primarily administrative -- serving as the VFX divisions point person for artist assignments, priorities and generally ensuring everything stays on track. Ideal candidates will be well versed in the language of Visual Effects, with a degree or focus in Film & Animation, Digital Media or Creative Arts.



  • Maintain great working relationship with Executive Producer, CG Supervisor and Production Heads.
  • Manage high volume cycle of artist contract ending/renewals; reviewing 
    contract end dates in the context of changing work demands and crewing options with management in order to communicate changes to artists in a global environment.  
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships by building trust and
    establishing accountability to establish partnerships with management and artists.
  • Driven to maintain artists’ progress and forward momentum.
  • Able to juggle everyone’s assignments and needs.
  • Greeting and Production onboarding on new hires
  • Managing all crewing/scheduling activity for artists
  • Create and update documentation of department protocol and processes.
  • Constant check-ins with artists.
  • Monitor, track and report on artists’ progress throughout the day.

Qualifications / Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of visual effects crewing and scheduling experience
  • Successful approach to managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Proven upstream and downstream communications skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate assertively and diplomatically with a diverse population
  • Solutions-focused approach to challenges and good business acumen
  • Confident presentation and public speaking skills
  • Experience in a visual effects, animation, technology, creative or artistic environment
  • Extremely high attention to detail, and accountability to deliverables
  • Strong follow up skills
  • Ability to navigate conflicts
  • Microsoft Office knowledge needed; Shotgun experience a plus
  • Professional demeanor and utmost discretion pertaining to employee information
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team in a very fast paced, deadline-driven environment
