Responsibilities /Responsabilités

The Software Support Engineer is responsible for providing software support for the post-production pipeline processes throughout the production services group. The position requires flexibility to perform a multitude of technically challenging tasks that include troubleshooting imaging chain discrepancies and maintaining proprietary media management software.



  • Provide support for post-production operations.
  • Working closely with the internal software development team and actively assisting with bug fixes and releases of new software packages.
  • Work closely with all team members.
  • Monitoring software-based DI operations in the facility, resolving issues as needed.
  • Addressing and resolving any user issues with software functionality.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications / Qualifications

  • Deep technical knowledge base of production and post-production operations.
  • Working knowledge of color science and modern industry technology, standards, and practices.
  • Strong understanding of programming principles, with experience in multiple languages.
  • 2-3+ years of experience with Python, PHP and Bash scripting.
  • 1-2+ years of experience with database technologies (MySQL, MongoDB or PostgreSQL).
  • 1-2+ years of experience with Perl, C Shell, or C# recommended.
  • Must demonstrate a positive and confident outlook.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently. 
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated.
