Responsibilities /Responsabilités

Purpose of Job:    

Senior level director position driving performance of campus-wide inventory operations, (4.7 million sf campus, over 50K SKUs).

Multi-customer focus supporting physical media packaging, returns, fulfillment and distribution for major movie studios and independent right’s holders’ games customers.

The job holder is responsible to manage and motivate all inventory teams, lead continuous improvement projects and partner with operations leadership in order to synergize inventory management across the campus.

 

Principle Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory organization embedded in multi-shift operations.
  • Responsible for providing leadership to multiple managers directly involved with inventory accounting and dotted line reporting with operational inventory managers.
  • Provides strong leadership driving a culture of accountability and discipline.
  • Directs the management of fast-paced, high SKU (50K+) volume operations focusing on meeting customer expectations and maintaining cost profiles.
  • Leads all intracompany transfers of inventory among 7 facilities prioritizing on customer requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring success of continuous improvement initiatives specific to inventory.
  • Contributes to the formulation of business strategies / business plans ensuring that all operations have appropriate inventory support.
  • Develops space plans for inventory gauging high and low velocity product.
  • Manages / monitors inventory for all customers inclusive of finished and dry goods.
  • Builds and maintains harmonious relationships with key customers, peers and corporate teams.
  • Drives the development and implementation of analytical tools focused on using historical operational data to develop relevant, sustainable business strategies for inventory management.
  • Proactively and regularly engages in the study of processes/performance to continually improve the operational efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Attends customer Quarterly Business Reviews to report on inventory KPIs and projects.
  • Leads all annual physical inventory activities ensuring that customer expectations and service level agreements are exceeded.
  • Works with engineering team to manage PIT equipment rentals.
  • Actively participates in senior leadership meetings and initiative across the campus.

Qualifications / Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Degree in Business Management/post graduate Supply Chain preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior management in fast-paced, high SKU base, supporting multi-site operations.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in managing financial data.
