Responsibilities /Responsabilités

The Project Coordinator, Subtitling is responsible for Coordination of multi-lingual subtitling and localization projects.



  • Ensure internal communication and coordination of projects is of the highest quality and is achieved. through efficient use of centralized databases, style & procedure intranets, and other tools as provided.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of key operational activities in a localization environment, including but not limited to tracking & scheduling, the translation process, quality control, final preparations and deliverables.
  • Co-responsibility for, but not limited to, the liaison necessary for sourcing reference materials internally or externally, provision of approval materials to client territories, the establishment of subtitling and localization conventions and standards.
  • Interface with local territories and translators as needed on a per project basis, providing schedule and delivery information.
  • Be the main point of contact for all issues concerning translation and feedback on assigned projects
  • Provide support to both theatrical and non-theatrical titles as assigned.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required in the course of the business unit’s growing needs and requirements.      

Qualifications / Qualifications

  • Degree-educated or equivalent work experience; all additional education and experience welcome.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of subtitling and captioning processes as well as in-depth technical. knowledge of theatrical and DVD subtitling, scheduling and production workflows, additional experience or knowledge of the theatrical international production workflows welcomed.
  • Computer literacy; familiarity with major subtitling software, emerging digital technologies and the general post-production industry.
  • Previous experience of working with multilingual product in a collaborative team environment; must be an accomplished and committed team player.
  • Ability to work within diverse internal teams and coordinate projects, and undertake the covering of peers’ core business duties in the event of staff absence or the facility running above capacity.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to deliver top-rated, accurate product under compressed deadlines.
