Responsibilities /Responsabilités

  • Responsible for oversight on labor planning, training and administrative projects.
  • Manage labor & metrics reporting for daily temp labor overages and/or shortages
  • Communicates with the Customer Service Representative concerning product builds.
  • Daily management of the flow of products to meet customer requirements.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
  • Performs activities of workers supervised.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required. Directly supervises 5-10 employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable procedures.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • ​Responsible for scheduling of packing activities, monitoring and reporting departmental productivity.

Qualifications / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related distribution supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong administrative, leadership, & PC skills, especially Excel

  • Operational oversight for Labor Planning, Floor Staffing & Training
  • Experience in tracking metrics related to financials/invoicing & providing analytical data

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of media in a variety of forums with employees at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Demonstrated customer focus, deadline sensitivity, organization skills, flexibility, relationship building skills, problem solving and demonstrated support for new ideas, suggestions, and changes.​
