Responsibilities /Responsabilités

This role can be in Burbank, CA or Atlanta, GA. Our Internal Audit department is tasked with providing strategically defined assurance and consulting services across the Group which adds value to the organization. Our mission includes assessing Entertainment Services, Connected Home, and the Technology Division’s key risks, and to reinforce management controls that promote business process effectiveness. This role is further defined by the Internal Audit Charter as established by top management and the Audit Committee. The Internal Auditor strives to collaborate in a value-added way with everyone involved to provide relevant recommendations that drive improved performance and enhanced value for Technicolor’s stakeholders. Internal Auditors gain wide experience across the company and have opportunities to demonstrate their capabilities through interactions with management at all levels.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain excellent client and internal team relationships across the different divisions and teams.
  • Support the scoping, execution and delivery of Internal Audits through the development of technology and data analytics techniques within IT, strategic, operational, and financial assurance and consulting audits in accordance with established guidelines and standards (both internal and external).
  • Identify and assess complex risks and controls, to relate them to the wider business environment and give value added fact-based professional opinion on the quality of business controls and effectiveness of monitoring, supported by workable recommendations which improve the business control framework.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Finance or Operational departments to obtain a comprehensive summary of their (2nd line of defense) risk assurance work performed.
  • To work ethically with competence, confidentiality, independence, and integrity.

Qualifications / Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor degree. Equivalent auditing qualification is preferred (e.g., CISA, CPA, CIA, CFE).
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in an risk and control / audit environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and first-rate interpersonal skills.
  • Able to develop excellent client and internal relationships at all levels of seniority.
  • Proven experience of managing and delivering audits across the audit spectrum for a range of business processes and organizations.
  • Able to add value to assignments through an analytical approach to work, and adept at challenging existing processes to identify and implement smarter ways of working.
  • Proficient at creating and helping to deliver captivating presentations to audiences comprising groups of clients, prospects and/or internal staff.
  • Must have good initiative, able to set and attain goals, meet deadlines, multi-task, and cope well with non-structured assignments.
  • Requires strong analytical skills to understand, organize, evaluate diverse information and discern and address the root cause of problems.
  • Must be a strong team player who readily shares knowledge and adapts easily to diverse work situations, locations, and cultures.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
  • Professional services experience (big 4 or similar) a plus.
  • Data analytics experience preferred.
  • Requires average 30% travel (national and some international).
